Snoonu is an organization that is dedicated to protecting the privacy of its drivers. This privacy policy illustrates the ways in which snoonu captures, utilizes, communicates (if the need be), protects and otherwise processes the personal information of its drivers (Also known as Snooners).

Given that the services that Snoonu provides to its drivers can potentially change with time, Snoonu as an organization, reserves the right to update/modify this policy at any point in time without providing any prior notice. Any change that is made to how your personal information is processed will be communicated to you before the made changes go into effect. Keep in mind, the continued use of the Snoonu Services after an update to the privacy policy signifies that you have agreed to the new set of terms and conditions that have been introduced as a part of the update.

1. Personal Information Collected by Snoonu

1.1. Information Provided directly by you   

Whenever you show interest in partnering with Snoonu or create an account using the Snoonu Driver app, we may collect the following information from you

• Identification information - such as name, date of birth, Qatar ID no., phone number, email address, or any other information related to your identity.
• Driving Experience and Vehicle Information - We may collect information pertaining to your driving history/experience and/or the vehicle you may use to fulfill Snoonu’s services, information such as, your driver license number, driver license expiry date, vehicle plate number, vehicle registration information, vehicle insurance information, vehicle color, make, model, year etc.
• Financial Information - We shall require information that will enable us to pay you in a timely fashion. Therefore we may collect from you bank account related information, such as, your bank name, bank branch, swift code, IBAN etc.  

1.2. Automatically Collected Information

Device Related Information - While you are using our driver app, we may collect information such as your devices make and model, operating system, your IP address, the service provider you are using and any other technical information that can enable us to help you out in the event that our Driver application stops working as intended on your device.

Transactional information - We may collect information that allows us to gauge how our app is being utilized, this may include information pertaining to your actions of accepting orders, declining orders, failing to pick up/delivering orders, intentionally missing out on accepting orders, acceptance and decline rates and any other information that could be potentially used to enhance the user experience of our driver app in the future.

Location Information - Allowing our Driver app to access your devices location services is mandatory, if you want to take on the role of a Snooner. We may collect your precise location while the app is running in the foreground or the background. The collection of your location information is necessary for us to connect you to orders that are near you and that need to be delivered, in turn, ensuring the success of our primary business of order fulfillment. Choosing to not allow access to your devices location services will restrict you from accessing our driver app thereby inhibiting your ability to perform the fundamental responsibilities that are essential for the role of a Snooner.

2. How we use your personal information

2.1. Onboarding purposes - We may use the personal information you have provided to us in order to evaluate whether you are a fit for our organization. This especially applies to information pertaining to your Driving experience/history and vehicle information. Once you have passed your evaluation, your identification information, such as your name, date of birth, QID no., etc. may be used to create a Snooner Profile, that provides you access to our driver application and in turn allows you to fulfill orders and earn a respectable income.

2.2. Maintaining Communication - In addition to communication with you via the Driver application itself, we may make use of the contact information you have provided such as your primary phone number and email address, to communicate specific instructions to you in the wake of emergencies or in the event that communication through the app is rendered useless or ineffective.

We may use your primary phone number for the following purposes as well:

• Inform you about where you stand in our onboarding process
• Schedule manual pickup/delivery of an order in the case of a technological breakdown
• Schedule in-person meetings for performance evaluations
• Notify you about any changes made to your schedules

Lastly, our partners and customers may also make use of your phone number to inquire about the status of their orders.

2.3. Ensuring the enhancement, reliability, security and stability of our System - We may utilize your personal information to ensure security and reliability of our Driver app, this may include using your collected information to identify and fix technical issues, as well as prevent any sort of fraud.

Additionally, we may also use the collected information to assess the parts of our app that may require enhancements (this could be security wise or feature wise).

2.4. Legal and regulatory compliance - we may use your personal information in legal proceedings (if required).

 
3. How we share your Personal information

We always ensure that your personal information is only shared when required and only with the relevant parties. Following are the parties that have limited access to your personal information:

Merchants - we share your name and contact information with the merchants from whom you need to pick-up orders from so that they can communicate with you if the need arises.

Customers - we share your name, contact information and location (only during the delivery process) to customers whose orders you are responsible for delivering. This allows customers to track their order in real-time, and be able to communicate with you if the need be.
