Society And Urbanism

This book addresses the matter of Urbanism in Islamic civilization, and the role of society and endowments in Islamic architecture, as it presents to the reader a legacy of the Islamic civilization that remained hidden for ages, during which the society-members exerted important roles towards the renaissance of their society. It was the Endowments Foundation that financed education and secured everyone’s entitlement to it, especially the orphans. They maintained health too through hospitals, ensuring that every patient receives the treatment and medicine they needed. The foundation ensured that vulnerable and poor families were provided with food, they invented care homes for elderly, orphans and poor. They built water fountains for humans to drink from and basins for animals, back when water was a right for everyone.
