Maryam goes to study in a strange city in Upper Egypt. There she rents an apartment with her friends. The landlady assures them not to open room No. 4 in the apartment no matter what. Four girls stay in a spacious, depressing and strange apartment consisting of four rooms. They are forced to Two of the girls live in one room, and with time, boredom, and getting used to the apartment, they open room No. 4, and after that, all the curses begin to happen, all the black history of that apartment and what happened in it, that room, and the closed box that is in it, those whispers, remembrance, prayer, fear, terror, and collapse. This is a wonderful literary novel, written with a mystical feeling and human features, but it was not devoid of horror and strangeness. Will Mary be freed from the effects of the locked room? Will day come for Mary again? Will the Imam’s soul return to where it came from in peace? The most important question is how will this all end?!
