Special media filter for connection to pumps or external filters The unpowered filter saves energy as it is connected to an existing pump for directing water back into the aquarium or to a bypass with a 16 mm (internal diameter) hose. It can hold up to 350 ml (11.8 fl.oz.) of filter media, which are kept in position between perforated plates so water will flow through optimally. Screwing off the bottom part allows easy access to the filter media, which can be quickly replaced this way. De-aeration is done with an air valve included with the kit. Kit includes: filter with holder plate, 2 suction holders, air vent valve, air vent hose 20 cm (8 in.), 1 spare seal
