In the final part of the “My Amazing Friend” tetralogy, Elena leaves her life of luxury in Florence to join Nino, her teenage sweetheart, destroying in doing so what she had painstakingly built: her career, motherhood and marriage. And she returns to Naples, where she re-establishes her friendship with Lila, the violent, rebellious, lost, successful and unsuccessful one.
