VITAMIN C TREATS

"FRANCODEX VITAMIN C TREATS are an innovative way of giving your guinea pig his daily dose of vitamin C. These treats can be used as the main source of vitamin C, or to supplement another source of vitamin C (liquid, fresh vegetables,tablets, etc.). The daily vitamin C requirement for healthy guinea pigs is 20mg/kg. This requirement triples during illness, convalescence, gestation and lactation (60mg/kg). Preventive use : Guinea Pig < 1 kg : 2 treats per day Guinea Pig > 1 kg : 3 treats per day. Convalescence, gestation and lactation periods : triple the dos i.e. 6 treats per day. Preferably wait until your pet is weaned (10 weeks old) before giving treats to young rodents."
