Minoxidil is one of the active ingredients used as a local (topical) medication. Minoxidil stops excessive hair loss and also stimulates hair regrowth throughout the treatment: You can see and feel the difference. The effectiveness has been documented by numerous scientific studies. The minoxidil hair growth treatment is simply applied directly to the areas of skin to be treated. It spreads into the upper layer of the epidermis and penetrates the hair follicles (i.e. the point of origin of the hair). In this way, the hair growth product can ideally stimulate the hair root and thus promote the growth of new hair. It improves the absorption of nutrients and provides the follicle with new energy. Without the use of minoxidil for androgenetic alopecia, the supply of nutrients to the hair follicle will slowly but surely decrease. The hair can no longer recover and hair growth is not adequately stimulated. In this way, the hair becomes increasingly loose and brittle until it finally falls out. As soon as the hair root can no longer provide nutrients, hair growth is over. How is the ALOPEXY® hair growth product used? To ensure the success of the hair growth product, the solution must be applied twice a day. Success lies in regularity, because permanent activation of the hair root by minoxidil can only be guaranteed through daily use. You should therefore integrate the use of the product into your daily routine – with the practical 3-month package of ALOPEXY®, the solution against hair loss is ready for you at any time*. It is all the more important that the application is easy to use and meets your individual needs. You therefore have the choice between two practical dosing aids: a dosing pipette and a dosing pump with applicator. In both cases, apply the maximum daily dose of 1 ml to the affected skin areas twice a day. The dosing pipette The dosing pipette is suitable for applying ALOPEXY® to larger areas of the scalp or for treating the entire scalp. With it, you can take exactly 1 ml of the solution and apply it to the entire skin area to be treated. The dosing pump The dosing pump is suitable for use on smaller areas of the scalp or under the hair. Aim the applicator tip at the center of the area to be treated or under the hair, press the pump once and distribute the minoxidil solution with your fingertips. To apply a 1 ml dose, repeat this process six times in total. Rinse the applicator with lukewarm water after each use.
