Deriva Gel is a topical medication containing 0.1% Adapalene, a retinoid used for treating acne. This prescription gel helps unclog pores, reduce inflammation, and prevent new acne formation. It works by promoting skin cell turnover and regulating oil production. Adapalene 0.1% is the active ingredient in Deriva Gel. This medication should be applied once daily to clean, dry skin in a thin layer over affected areas. Results typically become visible after several weeks of consistent use. As with other retinoids, some users may experience initial skin irritation, dryness, or redness which usually subsides with continued use.
