Hirudoid is a topical medication containing mucopolysaccharide polysulfate (MPS) used to treat bruises, swelling, blood clots, and superficial thrombophlebitis. The 40g cream/ointment formulation helps reduce inflammation and promotes healing of soft tissue injuries. Hirudoid contains mucopolysaccharide polysulfate as its active ingredient, which has anti-inflammatory, anti-coagulant and fibrinolytic properties. It helps improve blood circulation in the affected area and reduces swelling. The medication can be applied 2-3 times daily by gently massaging into the affected area.
