Nacl 0.9% I.V.500 Ml (Ibn Al Hyt.)

NaCl 0.9% is a sterile isotonic solution containing 0.9g of sodium chloride per 100ml, specifically formulated for intravenous administration. This 500ml solution is manufactured by Kuwait Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries Co. and is used for fluid and electrolyte replenishment. The solution contains sodium (Na+) and chloride (Cl-) at concentrations of 154 mmol/L each, with a pH range of 4.5-7.0 and theoretical osmolarity of 308 mOsm/L. It should be stored below 25°C and used only if the solution is clear and free from particles. The recommended dosage is up to 7.7ml/kg BWH. The solution should be discarded if leaking or if bottle integrity is compromised.
