Panadol Night is a combination medication that contains two primary active ingredients: paracetamol and diphenhydramine hydrochloride. Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen, is a widely utilized analgesic and antipyretic. It works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins in the brain, chemicals responsible for transmitting pain signals, thus making it effective in alleviating various types of pain. These include headaches, migraines, backaches, rheumatic and muscle pain, toothaches, and period pain. Additionally, paracetamol’s antipyretic properties help reduce fever by acting on the hypothalamic heat-regulating center, making it useful in managing symptoms of colds and flu.
