Pantor Prolonged-Release Tablet 40 Mg

Pantor 40 is a prolonged-release tablet containing 40mg of pantoprazole sodium, a proton pump inhibitor used to reduce stomach acid production. The medication comes in blister strips containing 30 tablets total (3 strips of 10 tablets each). Pantoprazole belongs to a class of medications called proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) that work by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach. The prolonged-release formulation provides extended acid suppression throughout the day. This medication is typically prescribed for conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), stomach ulcers, and other conditions where reducing stomach acid is beneficial.
