Qdine Povidone Iodine 10% Ointment is a topical antiseptic medication containing 10% povidone-iodine as the active ingredient. This 20g ointment is designed for external use to help prevent and treat minor skin infections, cuts, burns, and abrasions. This antiseptic ointment has sporicidal, virucidal, fungicidal and bactericidal properties, making it effective against a broad spectrum of microorganisms. It should only be applied to clean, dry skin and can be used 1-3 times daily as needed. The ointment formulation provides longer contact time with the skin compared to liquid solutions.
