Sanoskin Melladerm Plus is a honey-based hydrogel wound dressing designed for the treatment of superficial, chronic, oncologic and acute wounds. It contains 45% Bulgarian honey that provides gentle yet effective antibacterial properties through osmosis and peroxide action. The product uses specially selected honey from a Bulgarian multiflower mountain region with naturally high glucose oxidase and phenolic content. The honey is processed without heating or irradiation to preserve its healing properties. It maintains its antibacterial effectiveness even when diluted up to 30 times. The honey undergoes a patented ozonation method by Sanomed Manufacturing BV to remove specific contaminants while maintaining its high peroxide levels for antiseptic action.
