Tardyferon 80 mg is an iron supplement containing 80 mg of ferrous sulfate per tablet, used to treat and prevent iron deficiency anemia. Each pack contains 30 coated tablets designed for oral administration. It is particularly beneficial for pregnant women during their last two trimesters. The recommended dosage varies by age and condition: children over 6 years take 1 tablet daily, while adults may take 1-2 tablets daily. For pregnant women, 1 tablet daily or every 2 days is recommended during the last two trimesters. Tablets should be swallowed whole with water, before or during meals. Treatment duration typically ranges from 3-6 months depending on iron reserves. The medication contains castor oil and saccharose as excipients. Not suitable for those with iron overload conditions or allergies to ingredients.
