Xigduo XR is a prescription medication containing dapagliflozin 5mg and metformin HCl 1000mg in an extended-release tablet form. Manufactured by AstraZeneca, this combination medication comes in a package of 60 tablets and is used for diabetes management. This medication combines two diabetes medicines - dapagliflozin (a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 inhibitor) and metformin (a biguanide) in an extended-release formulation.
